I love being a part of Medicats because it has helped me form friendships with other students pursuing the same career while also exposing me to many different medical professions. This club has provided me many unique opportunities that have been very beneficial in my pre-med journey. I can’t wait to get started with Pre-Medicats so I can invest in Kentucky communities by helping high school students navigate starting college on a pre-med track. I am excited to help these students get involved on campus and be there for any questions they may have along the way!

Listening to all of the physicians discuss their hardships, achievements and enjoyment that they have accrued has further encouraged my determination to become a doctor. I am a first generation college student and I joined the club to get advice. I did not know what I needed to do or anything and was on my own. I thought the club will be helpful and it has been.
